Honey, Lemon, and Ginger Tea

This honey, lemon, and ginger tea is so good! It is especially helpful for allergy season, as a nice hot drink can help soothe a sore throat.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 Piece of Ginger (About the size of your index and middle fingers together), sliced
  • 3 Lemons, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of Honey

DIRECTIONS:
  • Layer the ginger and lemon into a mason jar until full. Pour honey over top of the lemon and ginger, until it reaches the top.

I usually let the mixture sit for at least 2 days to help combine flavors. The result is a sweet tea!

To prepare the tea:

Place 2 tablespoons of the liquid along with a piece of ginger and lemon into a mug. Add hot water and let it steep for two minutes.

It tastes great over ice as well!

 Enjoy!

Cinnabon Delights

I will never forget February 20th. This fateful Thursday changed my life forever.

We decided to go bowling, unsure of what the day held for us. After an intense game of bowling, grumbling tummies led to Taco Bell, where our lives were changed forever.

During our order, the cashier somehow heard the word "Cinnabon" and added on some of Taco Bell's Cinnabon Delights. I will forever be grateful to that cashier, as the Cinnabon Delights changed our lives.

So, naturally I have a copycat Taco Bell Cinnabon Delights recipe.

This recipe is extremely easy and quick!

It will change your life.

So here it is!

Cinnabon Delights Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 package of your favorite cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon combined.

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350ยบ.
2. Unroll your cinnamon rolls, laying them out flat.
3. Cut each cinnamon roll into thirds, about 3 inches.
4. Roll each piece of cinnamon roll into a ball.
5. Dunk your cinnamon balls into butter, then coat them with the cinnamon and sugar.
6. Place your cinnamon balls onto a cooking stone. (You could also use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper)
7. Bake the cinnamon balls for ten minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
8. Let cool for 10 minutes.
9. Using a small tip (I used a size 2) fill your cinnamon rolls with the icing.
10. If desired, drizzle remaining icing over the top.

Enjoy!
